(Band Karo Shor, Play Only Kishore Mach Gaya Shor, Har Taraf Hain Kishore)
The Saturday episode began with Amit and Sudesh with the song Ek Chatura Naar Kar Ke Shrungaar from Padosan – a song that marked the talent of both Manna Dey and Kishore. Kavita Kaushik posed as Saira in the movie Padosan, who is caught between the two singers who are crazy about her – Mehmood and Sunil Dutt (who is given a playback by our own Kishoreda!). (Band Karo Shor, Play Only Kishore; Mach Gaya Shor, Har Taraf Hain Kishore)
The two new guests for the 14th episode of K for Kishore were Hema Sardesai and Vinod Rathod. It was pleasure to watch the two perform, Hema with the number ‘Eena Mina Deeka’ and Vinod Rathod with the sad song from Namak Haram ‘Main Shayar Badnaam’. The audience were mesmerized by the number and the room fell quiet with only Vinod’s singing . The evening progressed and when Hema was asked which would be the song she would have loved to sing with Kishore. She came up with the response as ‘Jaan-e-jaan, Dhundhti Phir Rahi’, and Amit and she entertained the audience with this delightful number. Read the rest of this entry »

(Jugal Bandi – Kis Mein Kitne Hain Kishore) Every episode of this extravagant show is turning out with a new and amazing flavor. Today’s theme was presented with an equally inimitable manner. It was a musical war between the two great judges, one a wonderful singer and the other being an astounding musician. Bappi Da and Sudesh Bhonsle started the program with the brilliant musical fight from the movie ‘Padosan’. This song brings a full dose of laughter not only with the different treatment of the song but also the classical performance from Mehmood, Kishore Kumar, Sunil Dutt and Shaira Banu. While Bappi Da and Sudesh fought for Jhumroos and Bangdus, respectively, it created the mood that kept lingering through out the show which will last till the next episode. (Dance Masti) The 9th Episode of K for Kishore show started with a rocking performance by the kid-next-door turned ‘Superstar’ Kunal Khemu. This young gentleman has definitely carved a niche for himself with his heart winning performance in movies like ‘Kalyug’ and ‘Traffic Signal’. Kunal presented his tribute to the legend Kishore Kumar and termed him as a hundred percent performer. He also admitted of having watched ‘Half Ticket’ a minimum of 20-30 times. The bottom line remains the same, singer & actor Kishore Kumar lives in the heart of young and old alike. Kunal dancing to the tune of ‘Saara Jamana, Hasino Ka Deewana’ was just superb.
